Silly Season is coming. Don't let drunk you text your ex or email your boss.
Drunk Proof is the night-out lock for your phone. Sober you makes the rules. Drunk you has to live with them.
How it works
- Step 1
Set it up sober
Pick your safe apps and safe contacts, choose your unlock time, and record your sober test scores.
- Step 2
Activate before you go out
One tap and everything except your safe apps locks away. Even Setup is locked, so drunk you can't change the rules.
- Step 3
Wake up unlocked
Drunk Proof switches itself off at your unlock time and tells you how many times it saved you.
What's inside
Pick your safe apps
Choose the apps that stay open, such as your taxi app, Maps and Wallet for Apple Pay. Everything else locks when you activate.
Safe contacts, one tap away
Call or text Mum or your best mate from inside Drunk Proof, with quick messages like βCan you come and get me?β. Messages itself can stay locked.
Unlocks by itself
Choose your unlock time, say 9am. Drunk Proof switches itself off then, even if the app is closed.
999 always works
Phone calls are never locked, and there's a big Call 999 button while Drunk Proof is on.
Unlocking early is hard
Pass a typing test, quick maths and a reaction test that match your sober scores, wait out a cooling-off period, then confirm. Most people give up and go to bed.
Your data stays on your phone
No account, no sign-up, no tracking, no ads. Your contacts, settings and scores never leave your iPhone.

Please be sensible. Drunk Proof is a self-control tool, not a safety service. Set it up and test it while sober, never drink and drive, and look after your mates. Passing its tests doesn't mean you're fit to drive. For adults aged 18 and over. If you or someone else is in danger, call 999.
